From a young age growing up on the coast of Massachusetts I have always been drawn to the stories nature has to offer us. I carried this passion through my college career, basing the majority of my work, including my senior thesis around the human-nature relationship. My senior thesis specifically, was centered around the study of totem poles & their modern day applications. I was interested in creating a narrative through the direct comparison of the reverence past cultures had towards nature & animals. Versus the decay & inherent disregard seen in that of modern cultures.

Currently based in Lake Tahoe, I am able to use the abundant landscape of flora & fauna this area has to offer, as endless inspiration. My more current works have images of death & decay juxtaposed with the beauty of living elements. By incorporating both the intricacy of skulls, with the repetitive allure & illusion of naturally found patterns. The intention of these pieces are to not only have the viewer question what they define as traditionally beautiful. While also encompassing the wider theme of how we view & relate to the natural world in our day to day lives.
